HOUSTON – The Landry’s organization, which owns four Golden Nugget casino hotels and 500 restaurants, is planning a 30-story hotel and conference center adjacent to its corporate headquarters on Loop 610 in Houston.

The 9-acre site already includes Landry’s headquarters building and a Rolls Royce and Bentley auto dealership controlled by Landry’s chairman and CEO Tilman J. Fertitta.

The Landry’s organization has filed a variance application with the City of Houston related to its proposal to widen the two-lane Hollyhurst Street on the east side of the parcel.

Documents filed with the city indicate that two smaller buildings, possibly restaurants, are planned along the freeway frontage.
