CityCentre Beefs Up Retail Tenants

HOUSTON – Houston’s CityCentre district added several new retail tenants, lifting retail occupancy in the project to 90 percent.

The leasing activity accounts for nearly 60,000 square feet. New retailers and restaurants include: Bowl & Barrel, H&M, Fellini Gelato & Caffé, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria and Madewell.

CityCentre is a 6.4-acre mixed-use project near Interstate 10 and Beltway 8 in west Houston. The CityCentre Five office building will be completed there this fall and will add more parking spaces.

CityCentre was developed by Houston-based Midway Cos., which was founded in 1968. The Midway portfolio of projects completed and/or underway consists of 44 million square feet of properties in 23 states and Northern Mexico ranging from mixed-use centers, corporate headquarters, multi-family, entertainment, hospitality, business and industrial parks, and master-planned resort and residential communities.
