HOUSTON — i3 Interests and Atlas Real Estate Partners joined forces to purchase a 202,978-square-foot, three-building medical office property in Houston.

Scott Carter of Transwestern represented the seller, Peakwood Professional Partnership. Texas Capital Bank provided the financing. The three buildings are located at 800 Peakwood, 810 Peakwood and 714 FM 1960.

i3 is a Houston-based commercial real estate firm focused on acquiring and developing healthcare-related assets. Atlas Real Estate Partners is headquartered in New York.

ARTS AND CRAFTS STORE LEASES SPACE AT TEXAS COMMERCE PARK

GRAPEVINE, Texas – Arts and crafts retailer Michaels has leased 270,800-square-feet of space at Trade Center VI in the International Commerce Park located at 2450 Esters Blvd. in Grapevine, Texas.  Smith Realty Partners’ Damian Rivera, along with Jamie Jennings from Stream Realty Partners, represented the tenant in the transaction.

CARROLLTON, Texas — Pack Properties XI, LLC, has purchased some 5.11 acres in Carrollton, Texas, to accommodate the expansion of the Sam Pack Auto Group’s business in town with the addition of the new Five Star Chevrolet dealership.

The parcel, located at 1711 South Broadway, will provide space for additional vehicle storage and inventory needs.

DOUBLETREE HOTEL & SUITES HOUSTON TO ADD NEARLY 100 ROOMS

HOUSTON — The DoubleTree Hotel & Suites Houston, located near the Galleria on Westheimer Road, is being renovated and enlarged.

Established in 1982 as a 380-room inn, this DoubleTree site will be expanded into a 476-room hotel with 238 suites and 238 guest rooms.

Kokua Hospitality, LLC, an independent hotel management firm founded in Chicago, manages the DoubleTree Houston.

M&M ARRANGES SALE OF A-ALAMO SELF-STORAGE IN HOUSTON

HOUSTON – Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of A-Alamo Storage, a 76,720-net-rentable-square-foot, 919-unit self-storage facility on some 2.4 acres at 3535 Katy Freeway in Houston.

Charles “Chico” LeClaire, a senior vice president of investments in Marcus & Millichap’s Denver office, and Dave Knobler, a senior associate in the firm’s Houston office, represented the seller and procured the buyer, Extra Space Storage. Tim Speck, first vice president and regional manager, is the firm’s broker of record in Texas.

BUILDING SUPPLY SITE IN CORPUS CHRISTI SOLD

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – Finial Group represented Contractors Building Supply in the sale of its 24,900-square-foot facility located at 918 Navigation in Corpus Christi.

The  freestanding industrial facility is located on 3.25 acres. It offers 3,776 total square-feet of office space and 21,124 total square-feet of warehouse space.

The property was sold by Contractors Building Supply to an undisclosed investor. The seller’s broker was Keith Bilski of Finial Group and the buyer’s broker was Mark Adame of Joe Adame & Associates.

 STREAM REALTY GETS LEASING TASK FOR COLONNADE OFFICE BUILDING

 DALLAS — Stream Realty Partners, a national real estate services, development and investment firm, has been retained by Fortis Property Group as the exclusive leasing company for The Colonnade office building in North Dallas.

The 1.1 million-square-foot property is located at 15301 Dallas Parkway in Addison, Texas. The Colonnade office building is owned by Fortis Property Group, LLC, headquartered in Brooklyn, N.Y.

J.J. Leonard, managing director, and Ryan Evanich, vice president of Stream’s office division in Dallas, will handle leasing for the Colonnade property.
