Houston Developer Breaking Ground on 20-Story Riverwalk Project in Downtown San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO – (Realty News Report) – DC Partners, a Houston firm led by Roberto Contreras, will break ground this month on the Thompson San Antonio Hotel and The Arts Residences, a $116 million hotel and condominium project on the River Walk in downtown San Antonio.
DC Partners has hired Jordan Foster Construction to build the 20-story tower, which will be constructed at the corner of North Saint Mary’s Street and Lexington Avenue, near the Tobin Center for Performing Arts.
Located in the epicenter of San Antonio’s performing arts district, the 337,000-SF mixed-use development encompasses The Arts Residences condominiums atop San Antonio’s first Thompson Hotel.
Developed by DC Partners and San Antonio-based Universal Service Group, and designed by Powers Brown Architecture, the project is scheduled to be completed in 2019. The Arts Residences at the Thompson San Antonio is marketed by Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty.
DC Partners has developed several EB5 projects, which enables foreign real estate investors to obtain visas. The firm has developed several condo projects in partnership with Randall Davis of Houston.
DC Partners’ portfolio consists of more than 1.5 million SF,with properties including office facilities, mixed-use centers, hospitality, multi-family, residential communities and high-rise condominiums.
