Architecture Firm Leases Office Space – After Designing Thousands of Auto Dealerships, Firm Moves Into Interior Finish-Out

HOUSTON  – (Realty News Report) – Goree Architects, which has designed thousands of auto dealerships around the nation, has leased 14,206 SF of office space in the Sage Plaza in the Uptown Galleria area of Houston.

Avison Young’s Anthony Squillante and Collin Roach represented Goree Architects.

The landlord, Granite Barnhart Sage Plaza LP was represented by Nina Seyyedin and Jason Presley both with CBRE.

The 25-story Sage Plaza tower, 5151 San Felipe St., is a 530,000-SF Class A office building constructed in the 1980s. The tower is east of Sage Road and west of Loop 610, near Post Oak Blvd.

The Goree architectural design firm is expanding their space from 8,000 SF to 14,206 SF as their growing business adds new service lines and hires new employees.

Since 1963, Goree Architects has designed thousands of retail automotive facilities nationwide. While the design of retail automotive facilities continues to be a core segment of the firm’s business, the company has established a presence in the commercial and corporate interiors sectors over the last few years.

The firm is actively working on projects spanning the industrial, manufacturing, office, and retail markets. In its corporate interiors practice, Goree serves both landlord and tenant-represented projects and has a number of each underway currently, said  Steve Craney, Goree president.

Goree Architects is moving its headquarters from 4710 Bellaire Boulevard, near Loop 610 in Bellaire. Goree’s new suite will occupy the majority of the 17th floor of Sage Plaza.
