HOUSTON – Chicago-based Molto Properties has announced plans to develop a 166,250 sf distribution building in north Houston on Airtex Drive, not far from Bush International Aisport. The industrial project, a first for the company in the Houston market, will be co-developed with Generational Commercial Properties, a commercial real estate development and project management firm based in Austin.
Marketed by Mike Taetz, Bill Byrd and Ryan Byrd of Colliers International, the project is scheduled for completion in fall 2014. Previous Molto Properties’ projects include roughly four million square feet with properties in Illinois and California.
“We are excited for our first development project in Houston as well as our first venture with Joe Llamas of Generational Commercial Properties,” said Todd Naccarato, founder and senior principal of Molto Properties. “The property’s convenient access and exceptionally-functional layout will make this very attractive to future tenants.”
Located on 19 acres of land at 431 Airtex Drive, the project features a rear load facility with 30-foot clear height. Additionally, the project’s convenient location at I-45 and Airtex Drive grants immediate access to Beltway 8 and Bush International Airport.
