HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – CBRE announced that office investor leasing experts Russell Hodges, Bubba Harkins, and Jessica Ochoa have joined the firm’s Advisory & Transaction Services business in Houston. The team comes to CBRE from JLL where they were responsible for marketing and leasing a 6 million SF office portfolio. Other team members moving to JLL are: Jenny Mueller, Andrew Elliott, Grant Rexrode and Francie Breen. “We remain committed to growing our strong team and further deepening our bench of real estate advisors delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients,” said Mark Taylor, Senior Managing Director, CBRE.


Industrial development specialist, David P. Hudson has been named president of development at Griffin Partners, a Houston firm founded in 1980 by Fred Griffin. Hudson will lead Griffin’s expansion into industrial development on a national basis. Hudson had led the Houston office of Duke Realty, which has developed large Amazon distribution buildings, among other projects.


Michael Reamer has been promoted to Houston Division President of Lennar. Reamer takes over as John Hammond, who has been with Lennar and Friendswood Development Company for 33 years, announced his retirement.


Culver Stedman has joined Gulf Coast Commercial Group as executive vice president. Previously, he had been with Edge Realty.


NewQuest Properties added Joe Burke and Charles McGahren to its land brokerage team.  NewQuest also hired Travis Waltmon for its tenant advisory services.


Jon Levy, who recently served as director of worldwide operations/real estate for Amazonwas named executive vice president at Patrinely Group. Levy will lead the industrial platform for Patrinely, focusing on build-to-suit and spec development for warehouse and e-commerce users in Houston and other cities. A number of real estate firms that had focused on office and mixed-use development have been branching out into industrial.  Amazon alone is reportedly planning over 1,000 new projects in the U.S.
