HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Transwestern Real Estate Services and Molto Properties announced the groundbreaking of West Gulf Bank Distribution Center, a 115,642-SF distribution building near the intersection of Beltway 8 and Highway 290.
Armstrong Relocation, a large moving company, will occupy the building upon completion in September.
Transwestern Managing Director Nick Peterson, SIOR, and Executive Managing Director John Ferruzzo, SIOR, represented Molto Properties in the acquisition of the land and subsequent building. The team additionally provided Molto Properties brokerage services in the sale of the land and building to Armstrong Relocation.

Located in Brookhollow West Business Park at 9700 West Gulf Bank, the development located in the heart of Northwest Houston. The project will accommodate 97 car parking spaces, 24 trailer parking spaces, 28 loading docks and two drive-in doors and ramps.
A significant number of new industrial construction projects were announced in Houston at the end of March 2021.
Trammell Crow started construction on a 255,704-SF industrial building called Seton Lake Logistics Center. The spec project is located on Highway 249 at Seton Lake Drive, one mile south of the Beltway 8/Highway 249 interchange. Rosenberger Construction is the general contractor. CBRE is leasing it.
Amazon announced it has four additional last mile delivery stations (a total of 860,000 SF) under development in the Houston area with completion scheduled in 2021. The delivery stations, ranging in size from 140,000 SF to 360,000 SF, will open in 2021.The four last-mile projects are in addition to two large-scale Amazon facilities (about 1 million SF each) currently under construction in suburban Houston.
Realty 1 Partners, a Richmond, Texas-based company, started an industrial distribution project in Brookshire. The project, called Point West Distribution Center, will be complete in 2021. Leasing is by Boyd Commercial. Arch-Con Corporation is the general contractor. The 133,900-SF facility, at 32303 US Highway 90, in Brookshire, is near a large Amazon distribution facility.
