Companies Leasing Office Space in Springwoods Village

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report)Continental Land & Fur Co. and Caliber Solutions have leased space in the CityPlace 1 building in Springwoods Village in Spring, north of Houston.

CityPlace 1 was the first multi-tenant office building constructed in CityPlace at Springwoods Village and totals 149,500 SF.

The development is developed by Patrinely Group, the managing member of the joint venture with USAA Real Estate and CDC Houston which is developing CityPlace,

Caliber Solutions, a technology advisory and professional services firm, will occupy 4,475-square-feet on the fourth floor. Continental Land & Fur Co., an independent oil and gas producer, will occupy 5,273-square-feet on the third floor. Continental Land & Fur Co., Inc. was represented by Jim Pratt of Colliers.Chrissy Wilson of JLL, under the direction of Patrinely’s Dennis Tarro, represented the Landlord.

“Being able to secure 10,000 square feet of new leases during this time is a testament to the exceptional quality of our building and the amenity-rich environment we offer at CityPlace,” said Dennis Tarro, Executive Managing Director at Patrinely Group.

CityPlace 1, located at 1700 City Plaza Drive, currently has 90,000-square-feet of office space, and 12,000-square-feet of ground floor retail space available to lease with immediate occupancy, including new 2,000-square-foot and 4,000-square-foot speculative office suites to be built out on Level 3. Construction is well underway at CityPlace 1 with Bread Zeppelin and Sushi Rebel slated to deliver later this summer, adding two more restaurant options for tenants.

CityPlace is a 60-acre mixed-use development new Interstate 45 and the Grand Parkway corridor and the 3 million-SF Exxon Mobil campus. When fully developed, the CItyPlace project will include a full-service Houston CityPlace Marriott, 8 million square feet of Class A office space with 500,000 square feet of integrated retail space and additional multifamily projects. CityPlace is the commercial center of Springwoods Village, a 2,000-acre master planned community developed by CDC Houston, a subsidiary of Coventry Development Corp. of New York.

Springwoods Village is also the new headquarters of Hewlett Packard Enterprises. Scheduled for completion in Spring 2022, the new HPE campus will consist of two buildings located at the southwest corner of East Mossy Oaks Road and Lake Plaza Drive and include approximately 440,000 SF of rentable space. The 5-story buildings will have a bridge connector at each level for easy accessibility and structured parking for 2,055 cars.
