DALLAS – Gaedeke Group LLC is renovating its 128,795-sf Oak Lawn Plaza with a $3.8 million ground-breaking redesign.
“It’s going to be a major change,” says CEO Sabine Gaedeke Stener, whose firm has commissioned architect Mark Dilworth of Dallas-based Morrison, Dilworth + Walls to create a new design. Construction tentatively is slated to start in October.
The award-winning architectural firm has created several notable projects in Dallas/Fort Worth – including the new NorthPark Center, One Arts Plaza and A.H. Belo Corp.’s headquarters. The 1.5-acre property at 2501 Oak Lawn Plaza is located just off the newest entry to the Dallas North Tollway and directly across the street from Crow Family Holdings’ Old Parkland mixed-use development.
Oak Lawn Plaza’s redesign expands and extends the lobby, as Gaedeke did in 2011 with an award-winning redesign of the 263,921-sf, 15-story One McKinney Plaza at 3232 McKinney Ave.
