SPLENDORA, Texas – (Realty News Report) – The Signorelli Company purchased 3,000 acres in East Montgomery County where it will develop a master planned community with over 7,000 single-family homes.
The development will include 1 million SF of multifamily, office, medical, and retail development and hotels.
Located about 35 miles northeast of Houston, the new site is near at FM 2090 & Daw Collins Road.
As Houston continues on a pace to again the No. 2 market in the nation for housing starts (behind Dallas), land developers and home builders have migrated farther away from downtown.
Signorelli, which is based in The Woodlands, is expected to break ground on this master-planned community in the third quarter of 2022. The first phase of single-family homesites will be delivered by the end of 2023.
Signorelli Company senior vice president of the firm’s land division, Mike Miller, said: “The community is planned to provide a unique lifestyle program for residents, encouraging them to get outside with nature. Additionally, we are confident the master-planned community amenities, interspersed within a mix of housing products, will attract a variety of homebuyers.”
The Signorelli Company currently builds and develops across all nine counties making up the greater Houston area. The industry veteran has been delivering successful master-planned and mixed-use communities for over a quarter of a century, including the award-winning Valley Ranch and Granger Pines in Montgomery County, as well as recently announced Austin Point in Fort Bend County.
Signorelli Co. recently announced it is developing a 365-acre community called Bluestem in Waller County northwest of Houston. Bluestem is planned to feature over 1,300 single-family homes on various homesite sizes. The community’s natural setting will be preserved through 64 acres set aside for miles of walking trails around green space, lakes, and creeks.
