AUSTIN – (Realty News Report ) – HOUSTON – OHT Partners LLC has broken ground on an apartment community in Timbergrove, a hotbed of new Inner Loop development located just west of The Heights
OHT Partners’ project, called Lenox Timbergrove, is a 293-unit, 5-story complex is rising at 2825 W. 11th Street.
“This area is experiencing an exciting renaissance, and we look forward to bringing needed housing options to residents,” said Jackson Simons, vice president of development for OHT Partners.
He notes developers such as Hines, David Weekley Homes and InTown Homes are all presently building townhomes and single-family homes in the area. Berg Hospitality, a top Houston restaurateur, is opening a steakhouse three doors down.
Earlier this month, McNair Interests announced it was starting a multifamily project on 40 acres adjacent to OHT’s Lenox Timbergrove project.
McNair Interests, founded by the late Houston Texans owner Bob McNair, has broken ground on a 371-unit multifamily project in Timbergrove. McNair Interests, owns 40 acres there – a significant amount of land where McNair plans to incorporate 100-year old factories into noteworthy new developments. McNair will repurpose “majestic steel-framed factories” dating back to the 1920s
OHT Partners LLC recently broke ground on another upscale apartment community the area. This past May, the firm broke ground on Lenox Heights, a 359-unit community less than three miles away at 333 W. 24th Street.
