HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Griffin Partners is developing a 137,000-SF distribution called Carter Crossing in North Houston, near Beltway 8 and Interstate 45.
Transwestern’s Craig Bean and Brian Gammill will provide leasing services on behalf of Griffin Partners.
In 2023, Griffin Partners acquired nine acres on Greens Parkway for this development.
“Having developed two successful projects in close proximity, we are confident that we will continue to see tenants seeking smaller quality Class-A Industrial space in this prime location,” said Travis Covington, President of Development at Griffin Partners.
Houston-based Griffin Partners, founded in 1980 by Fred Griffin, has acquired or developed over 19 million SF, comprised of 124 individual properties.
Edward Griffin, the CEO of Griffin Partners, was a guest on THE RALPH BIVINS PROJECT podcast.
The company owns and operates properties throughout Texas, Colorado, Arizona, Utah, Tennessee, and North Carolina.
According to Transwestern Research, the North submarket saw a positive net absorption of 1.2 million square feet in the first quarter of 2024 and currently has 1,391,998 square feet of warehouse/distribution space under construction, nearly 500,000 square feet of which is pre-leased.
