HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – David Weekley Homes, has acquired an office building in northwest Houston for its Houston division.
The 50,000-SF building, 8847 W. Sam Houston Parkway, was acquired from NewQuest Properties, a commercial real estate firm based in Houston.
Houston native David Weekley founded the company in 1976 when he was 23 years old. David Weekley Homes, recently reporting $3 billion in annual revenues, is now one of the largest home builders in the nation, operating in 19 markets in multiple states. The company has built and sold 120,000 houses since the firm was founded.
Weekley Will Continue to Keep its HQ on North Post Oak Road
Weekley will continue to have its headquarters at 1111 N. Post Oak Road, just north of Interstate 10.

The Houston division plans to relocate from its current location to the space in late 2025,” the builder said in a press release. “This change reinforces the company’s position as a leading Houston homebuilder and demonstrates its long-term commitment to the area’s continued growth and development.”
