HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – A 1,568-acre land tract four miles west of the Grand Parkway has been sold to Xu Qing LLC.

The property has potential for development as a master planned community. The site is just west of the Elyson community by Newland Communities and not far from the 11,000-acre Bridgeland by Howard Hughes Corp.

The site is about 28 miles west of Houston in the Katy area, according to McAlister Real Estate, a real estate brokerage firm headquartered in Houston.

The property has frontage on FM 529, Longenbaugh Rd, Sharp Rd and Katy Hockley Road.

“Many of the booming Houston submarkets continue to see incredible demand for real estate early in 2018,” said Matthew Herring of McAlister Real Estate. “We’re looking forward to making more announcements this year in other exciting areas of our growing city.”

Key entities for the buying side include Xu Qing, LLC as the buyer, JL United Realty / Remax United’s Rosemary Gong as the buyer’s broker and Diana Hsiung as the buyer’s attorney.

The selling side’s key entities include NW Katy I, II, III & IV as the seller, Herring as the seller’s representative and Stanley Bronstein as the seller’s attorney.
