HOUSTON – AVERA Companies, is developing Bayport Logistics Park, a 143-acre rail-served industrialcomplex in Pasadena, on the east side of Houston.
The site is located on the east side of Underwood Road, just south of Fairmont Parkway, within the Bayport Industrial District. The site is also within close proximity to both Barbour’s Cut and Bayport container terminals, facilitating convenient, economical drayage to and from the ports.
The site plan has been designed for maximum flexibility, allowing the end user to design the building to their specifications. Site amenities include Union Pacific rail service and pipeline access. The site will allow for rail-served buildings between 200,000 and 900,000 SF, and non rail-served buildings up to 1,000,000 SF.
“We are excited about the development of Bayport Logistics Park. Prime industrial sites in the southeast submarket have become exceedingly difficult to find due to increasing scarcity, presenting abig challenge in a submarket with constant demand,” said Trey Odom, President and CEO of Houston-based Avera.
Bayport Logistics Park will be the second Avera development in the area, sitting just south of Avera’s Bayport Industrial Park – a three-building, 738,610 SF project.
