PASADENA, Texas – (Realty News Report) – Avera Cos. plans to build a 148,000-SF distribution building at the corner of Highway 225 and Red Bluff Road in Pasadena on the southeast side of Houston. It will be built on 11.8 acres Avera just acquired.

Avera has a number of projects on the eastern side of the Houston area. The firm is constructing two buildings, totaling 562,000 SF, for Kuraray America in the Bayport Logistics Park. In Baytown, Avera is constructing a 500,000-SF facility for Vinmar International.
The firm has also developed industrial building for the energy industry, including projects in the Permian Basin, Eagle Ford Shale and the Bakken Shale.
