Boxer Makes One of Its Biggest Buys Ever – 11 Buildings in N. Dallas

DALLAS – Houston-based Boxer Property has acquired The Centre office portfolio, a collection of 11 office buildings in the northern Dallas suburbs.

With 817,000 SF of office space, the 50-acre campus is located at the corner of Alpha Rd. and Midway Rd. just off of LBJ Freeway in Farmers Branch. This acquisition brings Boxer’s Dallas office portfolio to nearly 6 million sf and more than 50 buildings.

The deal represents one of Boxer’s biggest deals since the company was founded by Andrew Segal in 1992.

The Centre is located near some of Dallas’ premier developments including the Galleria and boasts a lake; campus like setting, fitness club and many amenities within walking distance inclusive of a first-class hotel. The Centre is in an area with a lot of positive activity including the development of both new residential and commercial projects.

“The Centre offered us the opportunity to expand our Dallas presence with a portfolio of buildings we know we can be successful with especially since the LBJ Express Project seems to be ahead of schedule,” said Andre Pereira, Boxer Property Director of Acquisitions. “The project also offers opportunity for potential redevelopment of some of the campus.”

Boxer specializes in maximizing the value of underperforming and challenged properties through aggressive leasing and hands on management. In Houston, Boxer appeals to small tenants with bold exterior signage that encourages them to dial its special phone number: 713-777-RENT.

The company has 18 million SF across more than 170 locations, nationwide.
