HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – One of the top office leasing teams in the nation, a seven-broker group led by commercial real estate veteran Chip Colvill, has the joined Partners Real Estate company, departing from Cushman & Wakefield
The Colvill team specializes in representing landlords and owners of office buildings.
A key member of the Colvill team, Michael Anderson, has been representing Hines in leasing the new 1.2 million-SF Texas Tower in downtown Houston. The 47-story Texas Tower, constructed during the Covid pandemic, just reached 99 percent occupancy, a leasing effort that was viewed as a remarkable achievement considering the soft office market conditions and the work-from-home trend.
The Colvill group traces its roots to the former Colvill Office Properties, a Houston firm that focused on leasing Class A Office properties until it was acquired by Cushman & Wakefield about five years ago.
In recent years, the multi-faceted Partners Real Estate has been expanding at a brisk pace, opening offices across the state and establishing a beachhead in Atlanta for a planned foray into Southeast markets.

In a press release distributed Wednesday, Partners confirmed that this Cushman & Wakefield team has joined Partners’ Office Agency Leasing practice in Houston: Chip Colvill, Michael Anderson, Win Haggard, Damon Thames, Brad Beasley, Diana Bridger, and Connor Saxe.
Chip Colvill joins as an Equity Partner. His career in commercial real estate spans over 40 years and 25 million SF in lease transactions in prime office properties. Colvill formed Colvill Office Properties in 2001 and owned the firm for over 20 years. Chip Colvill began his commercial real estate career in 1984. Over the years, Colvill has directed the leasing and marketing of some of Houston’s most iconic office developments including 609 Main, 600 Travis, 1100 Louisiana, 910 Louisiana, 811 Louisiana, 1001 Fannin, CityCentre, 5 Post Oak, and the Galleria Office Towers. While the Covid pandemic was slowing the economy, Colvill was a guest on the Ralph Bivins Project podcast.

Michael Anderson joins Partners as an Equity Partner. With over 23 years of experience, Mr. Anderson is seasonedin leasing and marketing Class A office properties in Houston. He has consistently represented institutional owners of first-class buildings and has completed over 15 million SF of lease transactions. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Anderson served as Executive Vice President & Partner at Colvill Office Properties.
Win Haggard was hired by Partners as an Equity Partner. With over two decades of experience in the Houston real estate market, he has completed over 735 transactions totaling more than 8.6 million SF during his career. He has worked on 18 properties throughout the city of Houston representing 9.7 million SF of Class A office space with private and institutional owners. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Haggard served as Executive Vice President & Partner at Colvill Office Properties.
Damon Thames joins as an Equity Partner. He has a distinguished career in office leasing and has been involved in over 3.3 million SF of leasing transactions. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Thames served as Executive Vice President and Partner at Colvill Office Properties, and has worked for both Savills and CBRE as a tenant representative broker.
Brad Beasley joins as a Senior Vice President. He has over 10 years of real estate experience and has been responsible for leasing and marketing a 4.5 million-SF portfolio of Class A office properties throughout the Houston market. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Beasley previously served as Vice President at Colvill Office Properties. Beasley has completed more than 4.3 million SF of lease transactions during his career.
Diana Bridger joins as a Senior Vice President. During her 17-year career in commercial real estate,Bridger has negotiated hundreds of transactions totaling more than 4 million SF. Her expertise in Class A office properties within the Houston Central Business District.
Connor Saxe joined as a Senior Vice President. He has been involved in leasing transactions totaling over 4 million SF of Class A office properties located in Houston on behalf of institutional owners. With over 10 years of real estate experience, Saxe specializes in the strategic lease-up of office space, particularly within mixed-use urban developments. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield Saxe previously served as Vice President at Colvill Office Properties.
In 2022, Vince Strake, another former broker with Colvill Office Properties and Cushman & Wakefield, was hired separately by Partners. While at Partners Strake has been handling leasing at the 46-story San Felipe Plaza at Augusta Drive, and the Jones on Main building in downtown.
