HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – David Weekley Homes, has acquired an office building in northwest Houston for its Houston division.
The 50,000-SF building, 8847 W. Sam Houston Parkway, was acquired from NewQuest Properties, a commercial real estate firm based in Houston.
Houston native David Weekley founded the company in 1976 when he was 23 years old. From there the growth has been a long and robust story, accomplished without the company becoming a publicly traded firm.
David Weekley Homes, recently reporting $3 billion in annual revenues, is now one of the largest home builders in the nation, operating in 19 markets in multiple states. The company has built and sold 120,000 houses since the firm was founded.
Later in 2025, Weekley will occupy its newly acquired building, which is located on Beltway 8 north of Highway 290.
Weekley Will Continue to Keep its HQ on North Post Oak Road
Weekley will continue to have its headquarters at 1111 N. Post Oak Road, just north of Interstate 10.
“This investment in our new Houston division office represents our unwavering commitment to our team and our customers while presenting our vision for the future,” said Senior Division President Brock Eller. “For nearly five decades, we’ve been privileged to serve Houston families, and this expansion will enable us to enhance our service to the city while creating an inspiring workspace for our team members.”
