HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Friendswood Development Co. and Pulte have announced plans for Katy Crossing, a 175-acre community 3.5 miles west of the Grand Parkway in Katy. Friendswood Development is partnering with Pulte Homes to develop 40- and 50-foot home sites to meet the growing demand for entry-level new homes.

Over 600 homes will be built in Katy Crossing by Lennar and Pulte Homes priced from the $190,000s. The community is in the Katy Independent School District.

“Katy Crossing will fill the demand for a popular price range in the north Katy area,” said Sawyer Blackburn, Senior Acquisitions Manager for Friendswood.

Amenities planned for Katy Crossing include greenbelt trails, pocket parks and a splash pad.

The first home sites in Katy Crossing are planned for delivery to builders in the fourth quarter, with model home openings planned for January 2019.
