ALLEN, Texas – Howard Hughes Corp., the developer of The Woodlands, is developing Monarch City, a 242-acre mixed-use development targeted for a corporate campus.
Monarch City is expected to have more than 4 million SF of office, plus multifamily, retail and hotels, reports Steve Brown of the Dallas Morning News.
The development, located on U.S. Highway 75 north of Dallas, is being marketed by Jeff Eckert and others from JLL. When completed, the development could have more than 8 million SF of commercial space, counting all office, hotel, retail and multifamily space.
Dallas-based Howard Hughes Corp. operates in 14 states with major offices in New York, Columbia, Md., Houston, Las Vegas and Honolulu.
