KERRVILLE, Texas—James Avery, a family-owned jewelry retailer, announces plans to build a 53,600 square foot production facility on 30 acres just across from the Kerrville Municipal Airport on Highway 27 in Kerrville, Texas. The new facility is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2016.
Kerrville is located northwest of San Antonio in the Texas Hill Country.
The company currently plans to move 180 employees from their main Kerrville campus to the new location. When fully occupied, the new building will accommodate over 500 employees, potentially increasing production to three times that of the current Kerrville facility. The company’s plans to create some 360 new positions in the Kerrville area over time. Nationwide, the company operates a total of 70 stores across the South and Midwest.
