HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – CJ Development has purchased 43 acres of land located near the intersection of the Grand Parkway and West Bellfort in Richmond.
CJ Development, which controls 15 adjacent acres, will develop a mixed-use development that is expected to include retail, restaurant, medical, fitness, and other business enterprises.
The new development, named Grand Center at Long Meadow Farms, totals 58 acres and will feature a 46,000-SF, two-story retail center, according to JLL. Other tracts will be sold under fee-simple terms offering the variety of users a competitive advantage to own their own property and design and construct their own building.
“As one of the fastest growing areas in the state, Fort Bend County is a great location with many business opportunities,” said CJ Development Partner John Vassallo.
The developer will install roads and offsite detention, as well as fully looped utilities in coordination with the municipal utility district.
Tenants set to occupy space at the Grand Center include Members Choice Credit Union, Spring Creek BBQ, Pet Suites, Service First and Seven-Eleven.
JLL’s Chris Bergmann Jr. represented the seller of the land.
CJ Development was represented by Alan Chodrow of Chodrow Realty Advisors.
NewQuest Properties’ Ashley Strickland and Nick Ramsey are handling leasing and sales for Long Meadow Farms.
