Multifamily Developer Buys 13 acres for 336-Unit Project in Houston

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Alliance Residential Company has purchased 13 acres of land in Southwest Houston for a 336-unit multifamily project as part of the proposed Saint Nicholas Place campus development.

The property, 12115 Main Street, is located along US 90, about six miles from the Texas Medical Center, between Hiram Clarke Road and South Post Oak Road. The site is adjacent to the Menninger Clinic psychiatric facility.

The Alliance land sale is part of a larger vision for the property to create a village concept around a new school campus to be created for Saint Nicholas School, said the school’s  Headmistress, Margot Heard.

“Alliance is known for developing great multi-family communities, and we are happy to have them as new neighbors,” Heard said. “With the addition of this multifamily component, we will be a step closer to fulfilling a broad community concept for the neighborhood.”

Alliance plans to develop a three-story garden apartment community with one- and two-bedroom units. The company owns and manages numerous multifamily properties in Houston.

JLL’s Chris Bergmann Jr. represented the seller, Taeken, Ltd in the land transaction.

Commercial tracts are now available and listed through JLL that front on Main Street. Nineteen acres are being reserved for Saint Nicholas School.

Saint Nicholas School offers a Classical school for PK-Grade 8 and a Montessori Lower School.  Enrollment is currently open for Summer Camp and the School Year.
