HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Gray Gilbert, a partner in the industrial division of NAI Partners, says two 1 million SF warehouse deals are strong possibilities in the Houston area.
Gilbert, speaking at the NAI Partners press breakfast recently, declined to disclose details of the big buildings or to characterize the kind of companies that are expected to occupy the space. As e-commerce has expanded, a number of retail companies have been seeking large distribution facilities.
Gilbert, who recently joined NAI Partners from CBRE, said the industrial market is strong in Houston with occupancy continuing at 94 percent.
Investment capital searches for industrial acquisitions in Houston, Gilbert said, but opportunities are difficult to locate.
