ROSENBERG, Texas – (Realty News Report) – Biotics Research Corp., a nutritional supplement company, is constructing a new corporate headquarters, research facility, warehouse, and distribution site in the City of Rosenberg.
The 87,569 SF new facility will be built in the Rosenberg Business Park, according to the Fort Bend Economic Development Council and the city.
Located about 20 miles southwest of downtown Houston, Fort Bend County calls itself the most diverse county in Texas and touts its status as an inclusive community.
Anticipated to be complete in 2023, the Biotics Research facility will retain 160 jobs and add 25 new jobs over five years.
Biotics Research, which has been located in Rosenberg for nearly 25 years, will retain their existing manufacturing building. The company’s significant growth in recent years and the opportunity to expand their business in the future necessitated the additional building, which is designed by Powers Brown Architecture.
Biotics Research is one of the City of Rosenberg’s largest employers and will be one of the first to build in the city’s deed restricted Business Park.
“Biotics Research is a valued member of the Rosenberg business community, and we are thrilled to work with them and congratulate them on their expansion to the 184-acre deed restricted Rosenberg Business Park,” said Rosenberg Mayor Kevin Raines. “The Business Park was developed not only to attract new businesses to our city, but to retain and create opportunities for existing businesses such as Biotics Research.”
A family-owned business, Biotics Research has grown and expanded since it was incorporated in 1976.
“Biotics Research and many of their employees have been long-time Fort Bend County residents,” said County Commissioner Vincent Morales, Jr. “This dynamic company started in Harris County over 45 years ago and relocated to Fort Bend County in 1985. They have experienced continuous growth, expanding the company’s product line and market presence globally. We are proud of Biotics Research’s success and we appreciate their on-going investment in, and commitment to, our community.”
Over 900 square miles and one of the fastest growing counties in the U.S., Fort Bend County is expected to reach 1 million in population in the next five years
