HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – NIT Industrial has acquired a 151,260-SF distribution building near Highway 290 in Northwest Houston.
The building, 12614 Hempstead Highway, is adjacent to an Amazon facility.
The seller, STAG Houston 3, LP was represented by Ryan Byrd and Walker Barnett of Colliers International. Jason Tangen, also with Colliers International, represented the buyer, NIT Industrial.
NIT Industrial purchased the property as an investment opportunity and plans to make capital improvements for immediate move-in. This is the second acquisition for NIT in the Houston market within six months
Esrlier this year, an entity affiliated with NIT Industrial LLC has acquired 12.8 acres in the Cedar Port Industrial Park in Baytown for a four-building spec industrial park with 204,000 SF. The tilt-wall buildings will be about 50,000 SF each. Colliers’ Tangen was involved in that Baytown deal with Joel Michael of NAI.
