HOUSTON ‐ Martin Fein Interests, Ltd, has completed The Communities at Willowick Park, three individual multi‐family developments surrounding a one-acre urban park inside Houston’s 610 Loop at West Alabama and Las Palmas Streets.
Fein, a Houston-based multifamily firm, said Willowick Park’s three distinct multifamily buildings each target a unique segment of the rental market in the Upper Kirby/Greenway Plaza area.
Aria, Olympia, and The Townhomes at Willowick Park are designed by different architecture firms with the intent to create a neighborhood feel; each building is architecturally unique, but they are all complementary with Mediterranean and European design.
Aria is a seven-story podium building has 325 apartment units over a two‐level parking garage. Aria has a variety of one, two and three-bedroom designs ranging from 540 SF efficiencies to 1,730 SF three bedroom units.
Olympia is an eight- story podium building with 189 units situated over a 2‐story garage. Olympia features larger units ranging from 1,025 SF one‐bedrooms to 2,170 SF three‐bedrooms.
The Townhomes consist of 38 three‐bedroom rental townhomes with exteriors consisting of stucco, brick and cast stone. Units range from 2,100 to 2,600 SF and all have attached two‐car garages.
Steinberg Design Collaborative, LLP and Ziegler Cooper Architects, two top multi‐family design firms, provided architectural services while Interior Design was provided by Moore Design Group of Dallas. Westchase Construction, Ltd., an affiliate of Martin Fein Interests, Ltd. was the general contractor for the development.
Assurant, Inc. of New York provided equity financing for the development while JP Morgan is lead in the construction financing group that includes BBVA Compass and Amegy Bank.
Martin Fein Interests, or FEIN was founded in 1989. FEIN has developed 12,000 apartments in Houston and select other markets including Denver, Raleigh, Austin, San Antonio, and Tucson.
