HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Trammell Crow Company has promoted Aaron Thielhorn to Market Leader for TCC’s Houston office, which develops throughout the Greater Houston market. He will assume the Market Leader responsibilities from Jim Casey, who will retire from the business in May, after spending 37 years with TCC in Houston.


NEW YORK – Howard Hughes Holdings announced that long-time board member Scot Sellers will be named Chairman of the Board. Chairman Bill Ackman, CEO of Pershing Square Capital, is retiring from the HHH board after serving as chairman since 2010.


HOUSTON — PBK, a Houston-based architecture and design firm with 900 professionals in 27 offices nationally, announced that Eric Dinges will serve as its new Chief Executive Officer. He previously was a senior vice president at AECOM. Dan Boggio, PBK Founder and Executive Chairman, will continue on the firm’s Board of Directors.


HOUSTONClay Hicks has assumed the role of Chief Administrative Officer at The Dinerstein Companies, which has developed over 80,000 multifamily units and 44,000 student housing beds. Hicks has served as President of both the Texas Apartment Association and the Houston Apartment Association. … Additionally, Aryne Bailey and Crystal Jackson were promoted to Executive Vice Presidents of TDC Management Company.


HOUSTON – Cushman & Wakefield has hired Kristie Luby as Managing Director and leader of property management efforts in Houston. Luby will be responsible for overseeing a team of 45 professionals and a 28 million SF portfolio. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, she was in a leadership role for the property management business across Texas for Avison Young.


HOUSTON – Partners Real Estate announced that Marc Peeler has joined the firm as a partner. Formerly with NewQuest’s Investment Sales Division, Peeler specializes in the acquisition and disposition of single and multi-tenant commercial properties nationwide.


HOUSTON – Cushman & Wakefield announced that Garrett Thomas has joined the firm as Director, Industrial Brokerage in Houston. Thomas joins the firm from Boyd Commercial Real Estate. He is a graduate of the University of Texas where he played football for the Texas Longhorns.


DALLAS – JLL announced that Michael Wheat has been named Managing Director of the North Texas retail group, marking a significant step in the expansion of retail services across Dallas-Fort Worth. Wheat has over 25 years of real estate experience, including overseeing leasing for the portfolio of Cypress Equities.


DALLAS – Rose Meza has joined its Dallas-Fort Worth office of SRS Real Estate Partners as a senior vice president focused on retail landlord and tenant representation. Prior to joining SRS, Meza was with Segovia Partners.


HOUSTON Mike Miller has been named Executive Vice President of Real Estate and Community Development at Red Oak Development Group. Miller had been with Signorelli Co.


DENVER – JLL Capital Markets announced that Chris Musselman has joined the firm in its Denver office, establishing a dedicated land sale platform focused on ground-up development in the greater Rocky Mountain region.


CHICAGO – JLL’s Value and Risk Advisory platform hired Rebecca Durney, as the National Agency PCA Director within its Environmental and Property Conditions team, led by Jeff Manas. Durney had been with CBRE.


DALLAS — The BKV Group design firm, hired Melanie N. Hanna, as director of interior design and senior associate. Working out of Dallas, she will concentrate in the corporate and hospitality sectors in Dallas and across the Sun Belt. She had been with BOKA Powell.


HOUSTON – International Facility Management Association (IFMA) announced its President and CEO, Don Gilpin, will not renew his contract and will pursue other interests. Gilpin will continue till June 30, 2025, as the Board of Directors proceeds with its succession planning. Founded in 1980, the IFMA is the world’s largest association for facility management professionals with more than 24,000 members in over 130 countries.


HOUSTON – AMB Architects recently promoted Roy Locke, AIA, RAS, NCARB to Managing Principal. He joins firm founder Alyse Makarewicz and Managing Principal Breann Nash at the helm of firm management.


DALLAS – CBRE announced that Matt Carlson and Patrick Gildea have been named Co-Heads of U.S. Office Capital Markets. Carlson, based in San Diego, will provide strategic oversight for the West region, while Gildea, based in Charlotte, will lead the East region.


DALLAS – Newmark announced that office agency leasing veterans Clint Madison and John Fancher have joined the firm as Executive Managing Director and Senior Managing Director, respectively. Based in Dallas, the duo brings more than 40 years of combined industry experience.


HOUSTON – First America Homes, the  homebuilding division of The Signorelli Company, announced Derrick Carlson has joined the firm as vice president of sales for the Houston market.
