HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – CDC Houston, a subsidiary of Coventry Development Corp., New York, has appointed real estate veteran Phillip Benjamin to the position of Senior Vice President. Benjamin, who brings nearly four decades of experience to his role, was most recently the Executive Vice President and Chief Portfolio Officer for Houston-based Patrinely Group where he was engaged in portfolio/asset management, debt and equity placement, dispositions, fund creation/management, investor relations, acquisitions and structuring of new investments. Previously, Benjamin was a Senior Vice President at Banc of America Securities.


 SAN ANTONIO – NAI Partners announced that veteran industrial broker John Colglazier, Jr. has joined the company as a Partner.  “John is an outstanding addition to our firm, as his namesake company, Colglazier Properties, has long established itself as among the most highly-regarded of San Antonio industrial real estate brokerages,” said Jon Silberman, Managing Partner of NAI Partners.


 Martin Fein Interests, Ltd  has hired Adam McMichael as Senior Director of Development. Adam will be based in Charlotte and will focus on expanding the company’s apartment development portfolio throughout the Southeast region of the US.  Adam joins MFI having spent the last seven years developing and investing in apartment projects in the Bay Area, most recently with Prometheus Real Estate Group. His past experience includes working with apartment investor McKinley, Inc and land developer Blake Investment Partners on investment strategies in the Southeast.


David Aaronson has founded Refuel Electric Vehicle Solutions.


Frank H. Fitzgerald  has recently formed Houston-based Fitzgerald Commercial Properties doing commercial brokerage.


Cushman & Wakefield has named Doug Jones the Managing Principal of the Dallas office, leading more than 300 employees throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.


New Hope Housing, the state’s leader in providing permanent, affordable, supportive housing for those who have experienced homelessness or are at risk of homelessness, has elected  Frank C. Steininger to join its board of directors. Steininger recently retired from Civeo Corp.


LAS VEGAS – The Calida Group, a multifamily investment and development firm, has named new Chris Leggee as Senior Vice President of Capital Markets.
