FREDERICKSBURG, Texas — Boot Ranch, a luxury ranch community in the Texas Hill Country, has reported an eight-year record high for home and property sales due to an influx of discretionary funds from the region’s energy boom. Boot Ranch Phase I reports it completed $13.8 million in totals sales in 2014 year to date, with a total of 16 homes completed. In addition, more than a dozen homes are scheduled to begin construction within the next ten months.
SURFSIDE, Texas — Arizona-based Star Resort Group and John Howton will host the grand opening of the model home at The Seahorse, the first private residence club on the Gulf Coast. The 108-acre master-planned development, including 37 home sites, is located at 5226 Bluewater Highway, five miles east of Surfside. A bayfront model facing the Drum Bay Preserve is expected to open in Spring 2015. Additionally, the 9,000-square-foot Beach Club which will house the development’s pools, spa, fitness center, casual and formal dining options is scheduled to commence development in 2015.
LAS VEGAS—One of the largest homebuilders in the western U.S., Woodside Homes, closed its 40,000th home sale. Woodside Homes is hosting a celebratory event at Woodside’s new home community, Seville at Andorra, which is located in Summerlin, a popular master-planned community in Las Vegas, Nevada. Founded in 1977, Woodside Homes is a homebuilder and land developer operating in Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas and Utah.
INDIA— Hines launched Hines India Residential, an initiative set to invest multi-phased, for-sale residential developments. The new platform will focus on key urban centers of India, like the National Capital Region, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Bangalore and Pune. Hines India Residential will be led by country head Yash Gupta, and a management team led by senior managing director Leo Chen, with plans to partner with local Indian developers.
HOUSTON— Riverway Homes opened a new sales office in Spring Valley Cove, a gated enclave with 25 custom homesites in Spring Branch. The model home and four inventory homes will be completed in December. Homes will be priced from the $700’s to the $999’s.
THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Woodlands-based LGI Homes, Inc. reports increased home sales with year-over-year growth of 27.4% and an increase of 53.2% for the first nine months of 2014.
