Six Companies Lease Space in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS – (Realty News Report) – Six companies –  ranging from lawyers to chemical companies to energy firms – have leased over 31,000 SF of office space in The Woodlands recently, according to the Howard Hughes Corp, the developer of the master planned community.

“Companies continue to seek out The Woodlands for the variety of office spaces that provide flexibility as businesses evolve and grow, as well as for the exceptional lifestyle valued by today’s employees,” said Jim Carman, President of the Houston Region for The Howard Hughes Corp. “The Woodlands Towers, Hughes Landing and 1400 Woodloch Forest Drive offer (office space) … in a walkable, natural setting—which have helped make The Woodlands one of the top-rated communities to live in America.”

The Howard Hughes Corporation was represented in the leases by Bob Parsley, Norm Munoz and Jillian Fredericks with the Colliers commercial real estate firm.

The tenants leasing space are: SI Group, Clouthier Law, Banorte Securities International; University Title Co.; Tailwater Innovation Partners; and Accron.

In Two Hughes Landing, SI Group, a leader in the innovative technology of performance additives, process solutions, active pharmaceutical ingredients, and chemical intermediates, has leased 15,018 SF.

At 9950 Woodloch Forest Tower, Clouthier Law, PLLC, a Texas criminal and civil appeals law firm, has leased 3,218 SF, and Banorte Securities International, LTD, an investment management and brokerage service company, has leased 3,170 SF 9950 Woodloch Forest Tower is a LEED-Silver building overlooking The Woodlands Waterway. The 31-story office tower was formerly part of the headquarters campus of Anadarko Petroleum, which was acquired by Occidental Petroleum in 2019. The  601,159-SF building (which also houses the Colliers offices) was formerly known as the Hackett Tower, named after former Anadarko CEO Jim Hackett.

At 1400 Woodloch Forest Drive, University Title Company, a full-service title and real estate settlement provider, has leased 4,781 SF, relocating from Spring, Texas. Tailwater Innovation Partners, LLC, a full-service ESG, energy transition and engineering solutions provider, has leased 2,525 SF to establish a new office. In addition,Accron,  a U.S.-based chemical marketing organization with emphasis in products serving the oil and gas, fuel oils, blendstocks, compounding, paint and coatings, water treatment and mining industries,has leased 2,542 SF. Accron is relocating from Magnolia to The Woodlands.

SI Group, Inc. was represented by Beau Bellow of JLL; Clouthier Law, PLLC was represented by Ryan Dierker and Rob Banzhaf of Newcor Commercial Real Estate. Banorte Securities International, LTD was represented by Jim Bell of Savills. University Title Company was represented by Patrick Buckhoff of Commercial Advisors Group, RE/Max Integrity. Tailwater Innovation Partners, LLC was represented by Samuel Slovacek of JLL. Accron was represented by O.J. Bobek of Bobek Realty Group.

The Woodlands, a 28,500-acre master planned community located 27 miles north of downtown Houston. The Woodlands offers 28 percent of green space, a standout among master planned communities that practice environmental preservation. The  Woodlands is home to 120,000 people, and nearly 64,000 people work in the community.
