HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Ten restaurants scheduled to open within the next six months at the Autry Park urban village under development near Buffalo Bayou Park by Houston-based Lionstone Investments and multifamily developer Hanover Company.
The flurry of new eateries including two ventures by prolific restaurant magnate Ben Berg of Berg Hospitality of Houston. Berg just opened Annabelle Brasserie in Autry Park, located on 14 acres on the western edge of Buffalo Bayou Park, east of Shepherd Drive, near Allen Parkway.
Annabelle Brasserie is an all-day café offers French inspired dishes in a glass-fronted space with outdoor seating overlooking Buffalo Bayou Park. Additionally, Berg plans to open luxury steakhouse Turner’s Cut in November.
Auden, featuring a vegetable forward menu with globally inspired dishes recently opened. The restaurant includes an 800-SF patio. Operated by Nitecap Hospitality, it is the first restaurant for husband-and-wife owners Kirthan and Kripa Shenoy.

Other restaurants and retailers opening soon include Lick Honest Ice Cream, MF Lobster, Doko + Bar Doko, and Piermarini.
Autry Park, which opened in 2022, is located on 14 acres on the western edge of Buffalo Bayou Park, east of Shepherd Drive and Allen Parkway, Autry Park is a joint venture of Lionstone Investments and Hanover Company. Rebees has led the retail leasing effort at Autry Park.
The development includes the new Hanover Autry Park, a 24-story apartment tower with 324 units at 811 Buffalo Park Drive.
Also in Autry Park, Hanover has developer the 8-story, 422-unit Hanover Parkview apartments.
Buffalo Bayou Park encompasses 160 acres along the 10-square mile stretch of bayou that flows from Shepherd Drive to the Port of Houston. The transformative urban greenspace connects a vast network of waterfront hike and bike trails
“Buffalo Bayou is one of our city’s greatest natural resources. During the past five years, millions of dollars have been spent on improvements and redevelopment of Buffalo Bayou Park, facilitated by the generous support of foundations, corporations, and individuals. We hope other individuals and organizations will recognize how this natural waterway improves quality of life for all Houstonians,” Brandt Bowden, CEO of Hanover Company said when the Autry Park plan was announced in 2020.
