DRIPPING SPRINGS, Texas – Tequila magnate John Paul DeJoria, founder of Patron Spirits Co., has sold his ranch in Dripping Springs, near Austin, for $6.93 million, reports Shonda Novak of the Austin American-Statesman.
The 96-acre ranch, which has several guest houses and an underground bunker with bulletproof glass, was acquired by television producer Jonathan Nowzaradan.
Exotic animals roam the ranch, including wildebeest, oryx, gazelles and antelopes.
DeJoria, also founder of John Paul Mitchell hair care systems, was recently ranked No. 214 on Forbes list of affluent people, with a net worth of $3.1 billion.
