SUGAR LAND – (Realty News Report) – Texas Children’s Hospital has renewed a 42,198-SF medical office lease for its Sugar Land Health Center at Sugar Land Medical Building II, 15400 Southwest Freeway in Sugar Land, southwest of Houston.

Sugar Land Medical Building II is a three-story, 60,334-square-foot medical office building. Texas Children’s has been lead tenant of the fully leased building since it was built.

“This location has served the needs of families in the growing Sugar Land area since 1999,” said JLL Executive Vice President David Bale, who represented Texas Children’s in the transaction.

Houston-based Texas Children’s is one of the largest children’s hospitals in the U.S. The Sugar Land Health Center provides specialty care and treatment for a variety of pediatric diseases and conditions.

Healthcare Trust of America acquired Sugar Land Medical Building II in 2010. Evan Saks and Amanda Houghton, with Healthcare Trust of America, represented the landlord in Texas Children’s renewal.
