IRVING, Texas – McKesson Corp., a San Francisco healthcare services firm, is buying a 525,000-SF office complex in Irving for a new regional headquarters that will create 1,000 jobs.
McKesson says it is spending $157 million on the new headquarters, the former NEC Corp. building on State Highway 114 in Las Colinas, near the D/FW Airport. The state of Texas Enterprise Fund is providing $9.75 million to McKesson to enhance the deal.
The NEC property, which includes two suburban office buildings, is being purchased from a partnership of New-York-based Fortis Property Group and Third Millennium Properties.
