HOUSTON – Springwoods Village Town Center, a mixed-used town center, with retail office, apartments and a hotel, will be developed near the new Exxon Mobil campus north of Houston.
The project is part of the new 1,800-acre Springwoods Village community developed by CDC Houston, Inc., a subsidiary of Coventry Development Corp. of New York.
A significant group of Texas developers will be participating in the town center: Houston-based apartment veteran Martin Fein, Dallas hotel and mixed-use developer Woodbine Development Corp., and Houston-based Patrinely Group LLC, which has developed a number of office projects over the years.
San Antonio-based USAA Real Estate will be partners with Patrinely and CDC to develop several office buildings.
Phase One of Town Center will include approximately 250 luxury apartment homes; a full-service hotel; office space in a variety of configurations; and up to 100,000 square feet of retail space.
Springwoods Village is a $10-billion, 1,800-acre, mixed-use community situated along the west side of Interstate 45 between Springwoods Village Parkway and Grand Parkway. The Texas Department of Transportation broke ground recently on a stretch of the Grand Parkway that runs between (Eastex) Highway 59 and Highway 290.
