HOUSTON – Transwestern has been retained to lease a proposed office building in Midtown Houston, one of the first office projects to be built in the area in years. The office building, will be part of a mixed-use project with office, apartments and retail.
Midtown is located south of downtown and north of the Texas Medical Center.
The eight-story office building will be located at 3501 Main St. Scheduled for completion in spring 2016, the office building and a 545-space structured garage are slated to break ground as soon as preleasing is completed. The first level of the garage will include 9,716 square feet of high-end retail space, to be leased by Greg Lewis of Lewis Property Co.
The MetroRail runs by the site. A number of apartments have been constructed in the area in recent years and there has been a rebirth.
The 203,316-square-foot office building will be part of Mid Main, a 214,612-square-foot mixed-use project being developed by RHS Interests Inc. The eight-story office building will be located at 3501 Main St. in Houston’s Midtown submarket.
