HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Houston-based Dinerstein Companies, one of the largest multifamily developers in the country, has topped out its 40-story Aspire Post Oak in Uptown Houston.
The residential tower is located across the street from BLVD Place, a mixed-use project with a Whole Foods market.
Dinerstein’s project is being built on 1.59 acres at the northwest corner of Post Oak and San Felipe.
Monthly rents start at $3,000. Leasing will begin in the latter part of 2021.
The 383-unit Aspire Post Oak is part of TDC’s Aspire Living Collection, a portfolio of high-end rental properties developed in Southern California, Texas, Phoenix, Denver and Nashville. This mixed-use tower will be the tallest Dinerstein development to-date and aspires to be the most elegant, environmentally progressive, and technologically advanced apartment community in Houston. Dinerstein’s executive chairman Jack Dinerstein was named to the Houston Apartment Association’s Hall of Fame in 1994.
Designed by the Gensler architecture firm, Aspire Uptown Houston will have a variety of one, two, three bedroom and penthouse options.
The ground floor of the tower will contain 15,506 SF of restaurant and retail space.
“Aspire Post Oak’s location is one of Houston’s most appealing, urban mixed use, and pedestrian-friendly areas in the city, and we recognize the need for the property’s design to reflect the surrounding premier environment. We look forward to continuing our creation of elegant design at this iconic development,” said Brooks Howell, residential leader and principal at Gensler.
All units will have a private outdoor space in the form of balconies overlooking the Uptown/Galleria District, Downtown Houston, and Memorial Park.
Dinerstein’s project will have larger than average units to accommodate current market demand and the popularity of spacious units in an infill, high rise environment with an average unit size of 1,210 SF.
“We look forward to creating a modern, cutting-edge, residential option at one of the most walkable and vibrant locations in the city,” said CEO Brian Dinerstein.
Aspire Post Oak will have a variety of first-class amenities including, smart unit technology, resident lounge, massage rooms, private dining rooms, 24-hour fitness center, infinity edged pool with tanning decks and adjacent aqua lounge, indoor and outdoor resident event space, elevated dog park and concierge.
The tower will consist of seven floors of residential/commercial parking below the 33 residential floors.
The project’s general contractor, Ludlow & Associates Construction, is ahead of schedule with topping out originally projected for January of 2021.
In its 65 years in business, Dinerstein has completed over 75,000 apartments across the country. The company has $3.03 billion in apartment assets under management and is also one of the leading “green” developers in the country with over $2.60 billion in apartment product completed or currently under development.
