HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Healthcare Realty Trust, a Nashville-based REIT focused on medical buildings, has hired CBRE as the leasing agent for a 1.6 million-SF portfolio of 18 properties in the Houston area.
Healthcare Realty acquired the portfolio when it merged with for Healthcare Trust of America in July 2022.

CBRE will also continue to lease Healthcare Realty’s previous 11-building, 700,328-sq.-ft. Houston portfolio, making it the exclusive leasing agent for a total of 29 medical office buildings encompassing 2.25 million sq. ft. in the metro.
Spinks, along with CBRE’s Anisa McCarty, will continue to handle leasing for the portfolio along with Livy White, who has joined CBRE as a Vice President. White has more than 22 years of leasing experience in the Houston market and previously served as Leasing Manager for HTA. Before her time at HTA, she spent a combined 16 years working for Madison Marquette where she was responsible for 1.5 million SF of office space in Houston.
The added property listings include buildings located throughout the Houston metro, from The Woodlands to Clear Lake and Katy to the Texas Medical Center. The portfolio’s most notable properties include medical office buildings like the 257,707-SF. 1200 Binz in the Museum District, the 177,819-SF. 7900 Fannin on The Woman’s Hospital of Texas campus, and the 127,933-SF Houston Medical Plaza Professional Building at 6655 Travis St.
As of Sept.30, 2022, Healthcare Realty Trust was invested in over 700 real estate properties totaling more than 40 million SF and provided leasing and property management services to over 35 million SF nationwide.
