SAN ANTONIO — Weston Urban and KDC have selected architectural firm Pelli Clarke Pelli to lead the design of the Frost Tower, Frost Bank’s new headquarters and San Antonio’s first downtown office tower to be built in more than 25 years.
Construction of the 400,000-square-foot structure is slated to begin in fall 2016 and should be completed by 2018 or 2019.
Pelli Clarke Pelli has designed and developed towers across the world, from the World Financial Center in New York to the Petronas Towers in Malaysia.

HGA TRIPLES ITS SPACE WITH MOVE TO OFFICE IN THE WOODLANDS
THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Hunt, Guillot & Associates has expanded and relocated its offices from Spring, Texas, to 8401 New Trails in The Woodlands, Texas. Ryan Dierker, Rob Banzhaf and John Wenckens with Newcor Commercial Real Estate represented HGA in locating the space and negotiating the new lease.

ALL-SUITES HOTEL TO OPEN IN AUGUST 2016 IN WEST HOUSTON
HOUSTON – A Hilton Home2 Suites Hotel will be built in west Houston on five acres purchased by Mac Haik Realty. The site is on Sherwood Forest Drive, just north of Interstate 10.
Mac Haik Hospitality has just begun constructing the five-story, 142-room structure on 2.3 acres. The hotel is expected to open in August 2016.
The mid-tier, all-suite hotel is designed for business travelers and extended stay guests.…..………………………………………
BERENDSEN PMC LEASES 4,000-SQUARE-FEET IN HOUSTON SUBMARKET
HOUSTON – Berendsen PMC, Inc., has leased 4,000-square-feet in the Imperial 20 building at 16800 Imperial Valley Drive in the Greenspoint submarket of Houston.
Exxon Mobil recently vacated a large amount of office space in Greenspoint when it relocated to the energy firm’s new campus north of Houston.
Kurt Kistler of Moody Rambin represented the building owner, 16800 Imperial, LLC. Mike Murnan with Cushman & Wakefield of Oklahoma, Inc. and Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, Inc. represented the tenant in negotiations.
