SAN ANTONIO – Microsoft Corp. bought 158 acres of land on the west side of San Antonio where it will build a $1 billion data center.
Groundbreaking is scheduled for early 2016 on the eight-building 1.2 million square-foot Microsoft data center.
The Microsoft site, located west of Loop 1604 near Highway 211, is in the Texas Research Park, a development controlled by the Texas Research and Technology Foundation.
