HOUSTON – Colvill Office Properties has secured two new tenants for CityCentre Five, a new office building developed in west Houston by Midway.
The two signed deals brings the Class A tower to 77 percent occupied.
The 15-story, 227,000-SF office building is the fifth office building in Midway’s CityCentre mixed-use complex, which has retail, multifamily, restaurants and hotel space.
Midway’s first four office buildings in CityCentre, which opened in 2009 near the intersection of Interstate 10 and Beltway 8, have strong occupancy.
In CityCentre Five, new deal activity includes a 13,226-SF new lease to Five Point Capital Partners and a 4,357-SF new lease to Credera.
Michael Anderson and Connor Saxe of Colvill Office Properties represented Midway in the lease transaction. Michelle Wogan of Transwestern represented Five Point Capital Partners and Nick Terry of Caldwell Companies represented Credera.
Colvill Office Properties specializes in landlord representation of office buildings and currently directs leasing and marketing of 16.7 million SF of Class A office space in Houston and Dallas. The firm now leases 13 percent of the Class A and 32 percent of the CBD office space in the city.
The Midway portfolio of projects completed and/or underway consists of approximately 45 million SF of properties in 23 states and Northern Mexico ranging from office and industrial facilities, corporate headquarters, mixed-use centers, business and industrial parks, medical facilities, manufacturing facilities, and master-planned resort and residential communities.
Midway recently announced plans to develop East River, a 147-acre parcel on the east side of downtown Houston. The East River site is located on the northern banks of Buffalo Bayou.
