HOUSTON – The Dupuy Group, a warehousing and logistics firm which specializes in coffee imports and food grade cargo, leased an expansion of 213,000-SF of industrial space at 3240 South Loop, near Highway 288. The firm also renewed a leased on its existing space, giving Dupuy a total of 507,723 SF at the location. David Boyd of Boyd Commercial represented Dupuy.
“This expansion will allow Dupuy to keep pace with the growth of coffee imports flowing through the Port of Houston while also expanding our private label iced tea blending and packaging business, ” said Dupuy’s Al Hernandez.
A family owned company founded in 1936, Dupuy’s logistics portfolio consisting of over 2.6 million SF in Houston, Charleston, Jacksonville, Miami and New Orleans.
Kelly Landwermeyer, of Holt Lunsford Commercial, represented the landlord, CenterPoint Properties, in the 10-year lease transaction in Houston. The newly leased Houston building has 5,175 SF of office space and 30-foot clear heights.
The landlord of the Houston space , Oak Brook, Ill.-based CenterPoint Properties has 3,171 acres under development in its industrial parks around the nation.
