Parkway’s Post Oak Central has been selected for a TruFusion fitness facility.
HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – TruFusion, a fitness center backed by Alex “A-Rod” Rodriquez, formerly of the New York Yankees, is coming to Post Oak Central, a Houston office development operated by Parkway Property Investments.
Parkway Property executed a 12,000-SF lease agreement withTruFusion.This will be the first Houston location and third Texas site for the Las Vegas-based, boutique fitness concept, which counts MLB superstar Rodriguez as a board member and major investor.
Represented by Chris Morrow with Morrow Hill, TruFusion is slated to debut in a street level retail space at 1990 Post Oak Blvd. in winter 2019. Newmark Knight Frank Associate Director Tom Havron represented Parkway in the lease transaction. TruFusion joins co-working operator SPACES, opening at Post Oak Central later this year.
Rodriquez, who hit 696 home runs in his career, is engaged to actress Jennifer Lopez.

Focusing on low cost and high value, TruFusion features a dynamic variety of more than 200 fitness classes per week, spanning yoga, Barre, Pilates, cycling, cardio, boxing, kettlebell and an array of boot camps. Since launching in 2013, TruFusion has cultivated a rabid fan base that includes Jennifer Lopez and NFL player Russell Wilson.
Post Oak Central is just a few blocks north of the Galleria.
