HOUSTON – Al Ross Luxury Homes has announced plans to build The Monroe at Bayou Park – an all-concrete, six-story mid-rise residential project one mile west of Downtown Houston, near Buffalo Bayou.

Units at The Monroe, 1034 Rochow St. between West Dallas and West Clay, will be priced at more than $1 million. The building will have 10, 3,400-square-foot residences and a 7,000 square-foot penthouse.

Ross, born and raised in Iran, he was sent to the United States by his parents at age 13 in search of a better life. He started a business, National Signs, with $200 in his pocket at age 28 and was very successful before selling it in 2011 and launching Al Ross Luxury Homes in 2012.

Ross has built and several sold upscale spec homes in River Oaks.
