HOUSTON – The 260-acre commercial reserve in the Elyson master planned community is suitable for a major corporate campus or a large distribution center with as much as 2 million SF of warehouse space.
That’s according to Avera, a Houston-based commercial development, construction and investment firm that is working with Elyson’s developer, Newland Communities to create development opportunities on the commercial reserve property.
Elyson is a 3,642-acre community on the west side of the Grand Parkway near FM 529, south of Bear Creek. Elyson, which opened in 2016, has recorded more than 200 home sales so far. The community will have 6,000 homes at build-out.
San Diego-based Newland Communities also developed the 8,600-acre Cinco Ranch, plus Telfair, Eagle Springs, Summerwood and Greatwood.
Avera has a number of major industrial projects under construction near the Port of Houston, at Bayport Logistics Park in Pasadena and in Baytown. Avera also developed the 710,000-SF Rampart Corporate Center in northwest Houston, the 600,000-SF 225 Railport project near Highway 225, and a number of projects in the Permian Basin.
