Avison Young Acquires GVA Firm for International Expansion

TORONTO – (Realty News Report) – Avison Young has acquired U.K.-based GVA, one of the U.K.’s leading real estate advisory businesses.

Avison Young, with the acquisition, expands to 5,000 professionals with 120 offices in 20 countries.

“Avison Young’s acquisition of U.K.-based GVA elevates our Houston office to a whole new level. The acquisition allows us to better serve our corporate clients with global commercial real estate needs,” comments Rand Stephens, Principal and Managing Director of the firm’s Houston office. “It provides a unique opportunity to broaden our platform by bolstering our advisory and consulting capabilities.”
