Bedrock Energy Leaves Downtown; Moves to Memorial City

HOUSTON – (Realty News Report) – Bedrock Energy Partners, LLC has relocated its offices from Downtown Houston into Two Memorial City Plaza building near the Katy Freeway in West Houston.

Bedrock Energy Partners is an exploration and production company focused on the Barnett Shale in the Fort Worth area and other mature basins. The Barnett Shale was an early breakout basin in the Shale Revolution.

Bedrock leased 7,659 SF at Two Memorial City Plaza, 820 Gessner in the Memorial City development.

Bedrock’s offices had been located in 2 Houston Center, 909 Fannin, in downtown Houston.

Owned and managed by the MetroNational company, the Two Memorial City Plaza, one of three office towers in the 927,000-square-foot Memorial City Plaza complex.

Two Memorial City is an 18-story, Class-A office building.

In the Bedrock transaction, MetroNational’s Brad MacDougall and Warren Alexander represented the landlord, MetroNational. Jay Cliburn and Andrew Brod of Fritsche Anderson Realty Partners represented the tenant, Bedrock Energy Partners.

Memorial City is a 265-acre mixed-used development in West Houston, to the east side of the Energy Corridor. Memorial City contains 9 million square feet of developed real estate including office buildings; retail, including the super-regional Memorial City Mall; highrise and midrise apartments including The McAdams Memorial City; restaurants; hotels – The Westin Memorial City and Hotel ZaZa Memorial City; and the Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center.

Houston-based MetroNational was founded in 1954.
